We always provide our customers with technical support regarding the use of our LACTOFERM lactic cultures and also we provide a full range of information on the options for using our products in close collaboration with the parent company BIOCHEM – the Biochemistry Development Center (ITALY).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE LACTOFERM CULTURE
Description: Concentrated, lyophilized, lactic starter culture for Direct Vat Inoculation DVI ®.
Physical form: powder
Inoculation method: Direct (do not need a preliminary reactivation).
Type of package: High quality polyethylene/aluminium packet hermetically sealed with original design.

Storage: 24 months at <=-18ºC, or 5 months at +5ºC if the package is hermetically sealed.
Transportation: allowed to be shipped in cartons at ambient temperature in winter times. For summer times, please take precautions to keep the cultures cooled during a long shipment.

Mentions on the package: Code, phage-specific rotations, units, production batch and expiry date.
Dosage: The recommended dosage is 1U for 100 liters of milk (or more milk depending on the quality).
Dosage availability: 5U (500 liters), 10U (1000 liters ), 20U (2000 liters), 50U (5000 liters), 100U (10000 liters).
